SnipSnap: Prototype App UX/UI Design
A concept generated for a project The School of Creative Arts: University of Hertfordshire UK
This mobile application’s name is SnipSnap fitting into the genre of productivity for a niche market. SnipSnap will allow users to acquire any pattern or texture that catches their eye. The user will simply take a picture of the pattern they might have seen during a casual stroll. The app will access its database to find the pattern, where they can buy it from, and how it was made. In instances where the pattern is rare, the user will still be able to see similar patterns and textures. If it is not satisfactory they can acquire a customized material of that design in the desired fabric.
Due to the wide variety of patterns and textures one sees, the application will also consist of a component by the name of ‘Bug’. This will be easily connected vie Bluetooth to the application, enabling the user to gain a better experience of the application. This ‘Bug’ will consist of respective sensors and AI that will allow it to sense the fabric or material of that texture and giving the necessary information to the user so that they can design at ease. If users do not know the fabric or material of a certain item all they will need to do is take their bug out and let it slide on that product and the application will use the data provided to give the user top-notch accurate information.
